Clairton Bears v.  T B D
Friday November 1st, 2013

Just wanted to post here that this site is NOT afiliated with the Clairton School Board nor the school district itself. It is run INDEPENDANTLY and will continue to bring you the best photo's and news from around Bear Country absolutely FREE.  The school board has in turn ordered that this board be shut down for unknown, political but very personal agenda's, but again the site will go on and continue to get you the best coverage we can. Additionally, this site has never charged or recieved any form of financial reimbersement. Please join us in telling the people in this world that THINK they can control us,  that THEY CAN'T!! Check back later for more news and views on this entire situation.  Go Bears!!

It is time to keep some of the members of the Clairton School in check. What they are doing is  destroying the lives of our kids and people around them everyday with the decisions they are making.

Bears Wrap Up The Season On BYE
The Bears will be at home or at nearby area stadiums with their fans watching other WPIAL stars play their final week before the WPIAL playoffs begin this week.  After numberous attempts at scheduling a make up game to fill for the void left by Imani Christrian closing down their football program, the Bears coach, coach Nolan opted for an extra week off before the playoffs.

Catching Up With Greatness

Trying to get caught up with the new coaching staff at Clairton HS Football.  As some may know, the school board this year approved a beloved city athlete that grew up in Clairton, and played sports for the youth programs and also into the high school programs. Daily News Athlete of the Year
Tyler Boyd came home from Hershey and the Big 33 Classic to collect what may be the finest and last award as a high school athlete. For the second year running, Tyler collect the "Daily News Athlete of the Year" for the men. The stats and records are impossible for some to imagine, but Tyler being labeled the athlete of the year twice now is an honor.

One Last Success at Hershey for 2 Bears
Two Bears traveled to Hershey PA one last time to play in the Bug 33 game coached by Quad A State Champion coach Art Walker. Both Tyler Boyd and Titus Howard visited the end zone during the game scoring for the Pennsylvania team. Tyler however visited it a few times much like his past performances at Hershey in the Bears last 4 State Championship wins. Both Tyler and Titus, along with fellow Bear Terrish Webb now change their focus from being Bears, to being Panthers. All three will open up camp soon with the Pitt Panthers. The next step for Killer T Football is going to be exciting to see.

Historic Graduation
The Class of 2013 at Clairton High School graduated last in what could be marked as a historic moment. Tagged as possibly the best high school football team ever on PA, it was even more gratifying seeing all the men and ladies of Clairton getting  their diploma's and also having plans for college.

And One Last Award.....2013 Mr. PA Football
Congratulation's to Tyler Boyd for being voted Mr. PA Football for the second consecutive year!! This award is three years old and a Clairton Bear has won it ALL THREE YEARS!!  Truly an exclamation mark for this team we call a DYNASTY. Congratulations Tyler!!

Clean Sweep for Pitt....Get Killer "T"'s

The Pitt Panthers gained 3 top superstars today from our Clairton Bears. Terrish Webb, Titus Howard and Tyler Boyd. The Killer "T"' will continue their play at Heinz Field where the thee have played so well for the last 4 years. Terrish showed this morning wearing a Pitt t-shirt, however, Titus and Tyler both wore nothing giving any hint at where they would sign. Titus opened his jacket to a new Pitt t-shirt and Tyler played with the crowd a bit showing his lanyards from Pitt, WVU and Tennessee. However, Tyler eased the crowd pulling a Pitt hat out of his book bag and putting it on. Tyler did say that all three called him this morning, but he only talked with Pitt.

Tribune Review's Terrific 25
Congratulation's to the TERRIFIC 3 here in Clairton Bear Country!! Tyler Boyd was named the Tribune Review Player of the Year and both Terrish Webb and Titus Howard received the great honor of being named to the Terrific 25!! This team TOGETHER just continues to shine even a month after the season is over. This will truly go down as a DYNASTY!! Congratulation's to our Clairton Bear's that made the Tribune Review's "Terrific 25"

Congratulation's to Tyler Boyd for winning the WPXI-TV Player of the Year Friday. Tyler beat his competitor's by over 16,000 votes!! This is a GREAT honor and a well deserved honor to OUR player of the year. Congratulation's Tyler. You deserve it!!

Congratulation's to The Bear's for win # 58 and securing a spot in the semi-finals of the WPIAL playoffs. The Bears played a great game with their win over the Brentwood Spartans. The Bears actually played a third party last night when the officials decided to not let the Bears players play the way they are supposed to. Calling very poor penalties, the Bears still overcame the yardage they were penalized and even scored on a couple.
The Bears will play Neshannock this Friday at Chartiers-Houston High School in Washington County at 7:30pm.

WTAE/Clearview Credit Union WPIAL Player of The Week
Congratulations to Clairton Bear Tyler Boyd for being selected the WTAE/Clearview FCU WPIAL Player of The Week. Tyler is knocking on the door of former WPIAL Star and current Pitt Panther freshman running back Rushell Shell's touchdown record of 110. Tyler scored his 101st TD Friday in his playoff game and obviously has his sights set on scoring more en route to another WPIAL title.
